How do i create a custom spin wheel?

Creating a custom spin wheel can be an entertaining and exciting activity for many purposes. Whether you're using it as part of a game, promotional giveaway or party activity, you can turn this simple idea into something much more interesting. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to make your own custom spin wheel.

Step 1: Gather Your Supplies: To create your own custom spin wheel, you will need a round piece of cardboard, four equal length pieces of wood or plastic rods, one 1/4 inch hole punch, and painter's tape.

Step 2: Calculate Diameter and Fabricate Wheel: Measure the circle that needs to be created for the center of your spin wheel and trace it onto the cardboard. Cut out the traced circle from the cardboard to create the foundation of your spin wheel. Then measure out four equal length pieces of wood or plastic rods that should be slightly shorter than twice the radius of the cut cardboard circle. Attach these four rods to each corner edge of the cardboard by using the hole punch and threading rope through each rod. Securely tie off each corner with rope tightly around the edges so that all four rods stay together on the cardboard now creating a semi-circle shape when spun by hand. Using painter's tape will also help ensure that all rods are secure in place with no wiggles while spinning round and round on its axis.

Step 3: Design Center Activity Plate: Now measure out another piece of larger cardboard to fit onto center where all spinning action will take place on your spin wheel – this makes up the centerpiece plate around which we will rotate activities from point A to point C (such as trivia questions, activities etc). Place this flat on a hard surface such as table so it sits over both sides of our semicircle spinning shaft!
